Sri Lanka tourism has been booming and there is a good reason for it! We spent 10 days during our Sri Lanka Holidays 2017 mainly in the central and southern parts. So when I made up my mind that I have to visit Sri Lanka, frankly I was starting with a blank slate, and did not have much idea about all that the country has to offer.
Well, I knew Sri Lanka beaches are the best in the world and Sri Lanka tea is world famous. When I did more research I got to know there will be beautiful train journeys, elephants and a lot of history.
Places we visited – Kandy Srilanka in Central, ofcourse we landed in Colombo Sri Lanka, Sigiriya slightly towards the North. Mirissa Sri Lanka for the beaches (Mirissa is one of the best Beaches in Sri Lanka), Galle Fort, Ella Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka train journeys are the best and we got a chance to travel through the most gorgeous tea plantations ever. Ofcourse Sri Lanka Tea is famous too!
