NOTE: Since filming Sri Lankan Airlines have upgraded their aircraft on the Melbourne Australia route to the newer A330-300 aircraft which features their flagship 1-2-1 business class seats.

I hope to try the newer Sri Lankan business class early in 2019. In the meantime lets check out business class on the oldest A330 they have. Whilst this model is no longer flying on the Australian route it is still flying to other Sri Lankan Airlines destinations from Colombo.

That said the seat is only part of the business class experience. Also important is the onboard service including meals and amenities. It is in these areas that Sri Lankan really shines – offering services such as on-demand dining which other airlines only offer in first class.
