Dharma Voices for Animals Sri Lanka Project: Heart or Tongue?

Is it your heart or tongue that craves meat?

A short video created by the Dharma Voices for Animals (DVA) Sri Lanka Project.

In the war between Heart and Tongue, we (are) practicing methods for the heart to win. By listening to our Hearts and not our Tongues, we can begin to preserve the lives of all animals. When that happens the world will become a more beautiful place.

~ Ananda Mahinkanda: Senior Consultant of DVA’s Sri Lanka project.

We’re there for animals. Animals can’t speak our language, they cannot come into a Buddhist center or Buddhist temple, and ask why are you doing this to me? Why are you paying people to kill me? To cause suffering to me and my children. So we are there, we don’t speak their language but we are their voice.

~ Bob Isaacson: DVA President and Co-Founder
